Penn Spectrum celebrates diversity of University alumni
Since 1755, when two Mohawk Indian brothers became students at Penn, the University has opened its doors to people of every race, color, creed and sexual orientation.
The students are gone but Penn has not closed up shop for the summer. The campus is still alive with activity, full of people, programs and inquiry throughout the vacation season.

On Monday, May 17, Penn held its 254th Commencement to honor graduating students and their families. For the 24th consecutive year, the ceremony was held at Franklin Field.
