WHAT: “Healthy Cities: Healthy Women,” a forum on how the health of women, the health impact of living in an urban environment and the practice of public health intersect.
The conference will explore the impact of urban violence on the health of women, improving urban communities through the empowerment of women, designing cities with a gender perspective to make them universally safer and effective policymaking and advocacy for urban women and girls.

DETAILS: Leaders from the fields of health care, urban planning and public health will explore ways to improve practice and policy to address the unique health challenges of women who live in cities.
Hosts include Penn’s School of Nursing, the Penn Alumni Relations office and the Trustees’ Council of Penn Women. BlackRock Women’s Initiative Network is the conference sponsor.
